I won’t even dignify this deletion with any begging. It was a really, really small blog - 5 posts or so - an intended backup of an unreliable salon 503 blog. Below are some comments regarding the establishment of it.
This 5 posts blog was completely abandoned for over a year and had a very few visitors.
Then came pistachio. I am not saying, that pistachio deleted my blog - it was only a coincidence . That isn’t my point.
What really reminds me Big Brother is this part of a TOS:
“We do not contact you first to ask that content be modified or removed.
You may NOT have that blog name back.
You may NOT have the blog content back.
We take our Terms of Service very seriously and act on each and every feedback we get in order to investigate potential breaches. Our terms are enforced on a daily basis.
We want WordPress.com to be a pleasant and safe environment for all of our valued users.”
So, your blog disapeared. You will never know why. To add an insult to injury you are cut off from your account. Most likely by a glitch in a monitoring software.
Linking to anything at WordPress becomes a risky business.
Collective responsibility in case of deletion is quite orwellian as well - if you happened to be a team blog member then your user account will be suspended as well even if you didn’t use this blog for years, because entire team is punished. If you use RSS widget which one day may show a forbidden word “sex” or viagra spam on RSS of your usenet group - you may kiss your blog goodbye altough you will newer know why. The list of forbidden words is kept secret of course. Never ever mention SEO - it is the biggest no-no. Play stupid instead - talk about cheap popularity or something like that.
Now if mr Rolex account is suspended, then we have an orphan blog as well. I wonder how many orphans are around WordPress. As a newbie Rolex will never figure out where to contact support.
Just like by Old Berlin Wall - you are shot by unmanned automatic machine gun - there is no murderer. Or is there?
Don’t you lose any sleep over it - just export frequently and start new Word Press blogs every now and then or better yet keep a mirror blog at the blogger.
Now the best part
How to get rid of a blogger A. Its really simple: You add him by email to your blog and then use forbidden words - Blogger A will be suspended automatically with your blog and he would never know why, because it is beyond mercy of any monitoring software to notify you about a reason of your delinquency or at very least point out to the post in question.
That’s exactly how Polish Secret Service got rid of a coauthor of my WordPress blog. And I was in dark about it until today.
Don’t link.
Don’t RSS anything.
Don’t backtrack nobody.
Don’t help any beginners.
Do not invite anybody to your blog and deny any invitations from other bloggers, which won’t help you anyway, because they know your email already and will eliminate you easily.
Set your blog to “no comments” to avoid any viagra URL, which will prompt a monitoring software to cut you of from your blog in a matter of seconds. No second chances anyway so don't hold your breath.
Buy yourself a sharp pencil and a piece of paper instead.
Undeleted somehow? Ja go widzę...
